Plenty of Thyme catered our wedding in June at Captains Wood Barn in Great Totham, and they were excellent from start to finish. They provided canapes, a two course wedding breakfast and pizzas in the evening, and everything was delicious. I lost count of the number of guests who complimented me on the food. Everything in the run up to the day was great, from the tasting to general enquiries. They catered for all allergies really well, and went above and beyond to assist with things we hadn't asked them to do, like cutting up the wedding cake, serving reception drinks and providing water to the tables. They were honestly incredible and worth every single penny (and more!) Thank you POT! xx

We enjoyed a great tasting session with Plenty of Thyme and were really impressed with the food - but had no idea how the taste and quality of presentation would be able to scale for our 100 wedding guests...well, we were blown away on the day. The food was absolutely delicious and as beautifully presented as when Dave was only cooking for two of us! All our guests went out of their way to comment on how good the food was too. PoT were also really quick to respond to queries and helpful with tweaking the menu to our tastes. Would highly highly recommend. Couldn't have been better.

Plenty of Thyme catered our wedding back in March. We had a 3 course wedding breakfast by day and pizza ovens by night. Not only did it all look amazing, it tasted great and was served so professionally from start to finish. We had rave reviews about the pizzas in the evg and were so glad everyone had full tummy’s! Jodie and Dave were a pleasure to deal with leading up to the wedding, and were happy to answer the million questions I had about the food on the day! About Plenty of Thyme

Established in late 2016 by Dave Double out of a passion for food and service. Having worked in restaurants, hotels, and large-scale venues since 2000 it was time to set up on his own.

In 2018 Jodie Halliday came on board, she shared the same vision as Dave and helped to grow the company to where it is today. In 2022 she became a director and part-owner of Plenty of Thyme.

Plenty of Thyme is now recommended and nominated caterers at a variety of high-end venues throughout Essex including Hylands House, Tuffon Hall, That Amazing Place & Lodge Farm Barns.

We have large premises near Billericay which has been awarded 5* hygiene from Chelmsford council for the last 4 years.
