The Compasses At Pattiswick is such a unique and gorgeous venue. We knew as soon as we sat down with Jono this was where we wanted our wedding. Jono not only showed us around the venue but helped us to form our vision of the day using his expertise to help guide us. Charlaine was our main point of contact for all things leading up to the big day and she couldn't have been more attentive and wonderful. Helping us with every worry, last minute catastrophe and accommodating every mad request that comes with going slightly mad planning. The lovely "Bridal prep room mum" was excellent at helping everyone stay calm and hydrated whilst getting ready. Della did an incredible job putting together our vision, setting up all our decor and spending the day with us ensuring we didn't have to worry about anything she kept the day moving according to schedule and helped with all the little surprises for our guests. You couldn't ask for a better team to make your dream wedding day a reality or a more picturesque venue. Especially when having a smaller more relaxed day this venue is all class and coziness. Thanks so much to the team you were all amazing and we are so thankful for all your hard work! Our wedding day was perfect!

We couldn't fault The Compasses at any point in our wedding planning journey with them. Every member of staff that we interacted with was professional and helpful. The venue is stunning and won us over with the beautiful finish and eye for detail they have put in to turning it into a wedding venue. We would choose them again in a flash.

We got married at the Compasses earlier this month and it was everything we dreamed it would be. We fell in love twice - once with each other, and then with this venue. As soon as we saw it, even before we had seen it, we knew it was 'the one'. Everything about the Compasses is perfect - the rural setting, the ambience, the rooms, the lawn, the gate, the fields, the bridal room - but the really special thing are the people who ensure your wedding is looked after as if it was their own. The Compasses team are just wonderful - relaxed, easy to deal with, nothing too much trouble for them. On the day itself Della managed everything to perfection, giving us time out when we needed it, ensuring all the details were as we wanted them and helping to make our day run so smoothly. The glorious weather helped, it is true, but even if we had not been so lucky the Compasses would still have been a brilliant venue. As far as practicalities go, packages are flexible rather than fixed, and getting married here is competitively priced. Jono and his team will adapt to your ideas, preferences and budget as far as they possibly can. We wanted an 'understated' wedding that reflected our personalities and the Compasses was perfect.
